How the Simple Airplane Painting Commission Process Works
We’ve streamlined the airplane painting commission process to make it simple, collaborative, and risk-free.
Step 1: Share Your Aircraft Photos
Submit your aircraft images via our commission quote request form or e-mail them directly to Barbara@PlaneAirArt.com. I will review the photos and recommend the best format, size, and pricing options for your custom airplane painting.
Step 2: Review Compositional Sketches
You’ll receive a selection of preliminary sketches to choose from. These studies help you visualize the final piece and ensure the composition aligns with your preferences.
Step 3: Aircraft Painting in Progress
Once a sketch is approved, the painting begins. Depending on complexity, your airplane portrait may take up to six weeks to complete. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
Step 4: Final Approval & Delivery of Your Airplane Portrait
When the airplane painting is finished, you’ll have the opportunity to approve it before purchase. If you choose not to proceed, the aviation artwork will be offered to other collectors. There is no pressure or risk to your aircraft painting commission.
